Fitting Instructions

Step 1: Position Your Scoot Lock

  • Place the front casing on your scooter stem at your preferred height.

  • For scooters with easy-release stems, position Scoot Lock low on the stem so the cable can thread through the wheels before securing it to your chosen anchor point.

Step 2: Fit the Bracket

  • Wrap the bracket around the stem into the casing, making sure the two holes face downward.

  • Use the provided spacers (some or all) for a snug fit, depending on your stem size.

Step 3: Secure the Screws

  • Insert screws with washers into the holes and tighten with the Allen key provided.

  • Keep your Allen key in a safe place for future adjustments.

  • Snap the screw cover over the screws for a neat finish.

Transferring to Another Scooter or Bike

✔ Remove the screw cover by inserting the Allen key into each hole on the underside of the bracket—this will pop the cap off.

✔ Use the Allen key to remove screws.

✔ Follow the above fitting steps to reattach Scoot Lock to your new scooter or bike.

Creating Your Own Code

✔ Personalise your code by holding in the small white button on the side of the lock.

✔ While the button is held in, twist the numbers to the position of your own personal code.

✔ Release the button and your code is set.

✔ Keep the code to yourself and remember to scramble your code whilst scooting or while its unlocked.

If you forget your code, sadly there is no reset button, so DON’T forget it, when you set it!
